【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforevaluatingthefollowingperformancecharacteristicsofairqualitymeasurementmethods:bias(inpartonly),calibrationfunctionandlinearity,instability,lowerdetectionlimit,periodofunattendedoperation,selectivity,sensitivity,andupperlimitofmeasurement.1.2Theprocedurespresentedinthispracticeareapplicableonlytoairqualitymeasurementmethodswithlinearcontinuouscalibrationfunctions,andtheoutputvariableofwhichisadefinedtimeaverage.Thelinearitymaybeduetopostprocessingoftheprimaryoutputvariable.Additionally,replicatevaluesbelongingtothesameinputstateareassumedtobenormallydistributed.Componentsrequiredtotransformtheprimarymeasurementmethodoutputintothetimeaveragesdesiredareregardedasanintegralpartofthismeasurementmethod.1.3Forsurveillanceofmeasurementmethodstabilityunderroutinemeasurementconditions,itmaysufficetochecktheessentialperformancecharacteristicsusingsimplifiedtests,thedegreeofsimplificationacceptablebeingdependentontheknowledgeontheinvariancepropertiesoftheperformancecharacteristicspreviouslygainedbytheprocedurespresentedhere.1.4Thereisnofundamentaldifferencebetweentheinstrumental(automatic)andthemanual(forexample,wet-chemical)procedures,aslongasthemeasuredvalueisanaveragerepresentativeforapredefinedtimeinterval.Therefore,theprocedurespresentedareapplicabletoboth.Furthermore,theyareapplicabletomeasurementmethodsforambient,workplace,andindooratmospheres,aswellasemissions.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
